In My Mailbox #9

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.

Darkness Falls - Cate Tiernan
Sequel to Immortal Beloved. I adore Cate Tiernan and Immortal Beloved was an amazing book. I've been looking forward to getting Darkness Falls for quite some time. I was lucky enough to win a competition run by Booktopia here in Australia and Darkness Falls was my prize. I can't wait to find out what happens next in the series.

The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight - Jennifer E. Smith
I blame Sarah for this one. She said because I liked Anna and the French Kiss, I'd probably enjoy this. Ever since then it's been on my brain, I had to get it when I was in Big W during the week.

Born Wicked - Jessica Spotswood
Born Wicked is another victim from my visit to Big W. I've heard a lot of great things about this book so far. I've been in a bit of a witch-y mood lately, so this book should hit the spot quite well.

And that's my mailbox for this week.

    1. Yes, you should definitely give Immortal Beloved a go. If you like the idea of witchcraft and immortal beings, you'll love it.

If you've read anything by Cate Tiernan before you'll notice a lot of similarities between her books. If you haven't then you'll probably enjoy it a lot more because the circles and holidays will all be new and exciting.

    2. *nods* Brodie's prodded me more than once about it! Might grab both books at once when I can :) I want to meet Reyn!

Oooh...circles and holidays... *curious* This will be my first book of Cate's!

    3. Reyn *fans self* That's why I'm dying to read DF. Hot Immortal Viking GOD! *swoon*

Cate's first series Wicca (or Sweep in the US) explores the circles and wiccan holidays more, but Immortal Beloved has its fair share of it too, only with the added bonus of immortality. It's fun!

But I'm worried if you hate it, you'll blame me, too! :O

AND BORN WICKED! YESSSS! OK, I'm DYING to read this one! You have NO. IDEA.
You MUST tell me if you like it, yes?

Also, I'm SO sorry--I didn't post that book yet. I WILL. Promise :)
